It has been so good having Karlie and the kids here to share this part of Scott's wrestling season. I know it had been hard for Kar to have been to all of Matt and Jeff's matches, scored for so many non-brothers, and then to have missed Scott's. While here, she has gone the extra mile to have the kids Fan-Club-Ready, attend as many matches as she could, has been helpful and supportive in scoring tables, preparing food and cleaning up the after-math at home.
Tonight, however, was a special moment for me...watching the two of them relieve different stresses for each other. Scott was about to go on the mat and Karlie had been worrying about Dan traveling, the trip home, and dealing with a little bit of fussiness with the kids. Seeing them care about each other was a nice "mom" moment. Thanks.
