Although this was a traditional, fun way to start Easter morning, we were also blessed to have a very spiritual Sacrament meeting today. The talks on the atonement and sacrifice of our Saviour were touching and insightful. The children in Primary didn't seem so hyped up on sugar and commercial excitement, but were in tune with the real meaning of Easter. We had a good dinner and visit with Family Goulding, too. At the close of our evening, Scott gave our family prayer with special mention of the appreciation and meaning of Easter. I am grateful for the knowledge and testimony of the plan of salvation, a living Prophet, and my Saviour that sacrificed so much for us all.
